I participated in the Speed Scrap at Scrap Matters tonight. I used an old kit by Mickey B Designs and Man in the Moon Designs and did a page from my son's 3rd birthday.

On a personal note - my hubby was laid off from work this week. Rough times are ahead but with prayer we will get through it.

Bluebonnets are blooming and we are trying to decide when (gotta be soon before they go away) we will go for our annual trip. This will be Katie's first year and with her blue eyes I am hoping to get some awesome shots to scrap with!

I have also applied for a couple CT (Creative Team) calls in hopes that I get on one. If I have a CT to make pages for I will have more of a reason to sit here and work on pages. :-D And maybe that will make me take the camera (and not my cell phone camera) out and get pics with the kids more often.

New Direction

Well - I had my baby girl in December. She is wonderful and my son is a great big brother. I am going to take this blog in a different direction for now. I would still love to design in the future but for now I am just going to share my crafts and digital scrapping that I do now and then.

I have re-vamped my background in the hopes to take this in a new direction too. The background picture was taken by my husband in 2007. The flowers are Texas Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrushes and some other wildflowers. There may be some more changes in the near future, as I have more time and ability to play with some features here on Blogger.
